Merry Christmas

Talia and Rommi vom Globalhaus have both been very good girls this year. Talia took her cause directly to Santa and Rommi is waiting patiently in just the right spot for Santa’s arrival. Meanwhile Santa is taking a well earned nap while “visions of German Shepherd puppies dance in his head.” Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all our Globalhaus Friends and Families around the world.

 

 

A Fine Blend

Our V1 Fina vom Globalhaus, SchH2, KKL1-a, LBZ has been bred to great new import, VA (Excellent Select) Whisky von der Wasserkuppe, SchH3, KKL1-a. Whisky is a son of 2X World Champion Remo and also carries World Champions Zamp, Larus, Yasko, Ursus and Connie in his pedigree along with multiple VA dogs on the mother and father lines. Puppies are due Christmas Day 2012. We’re hoping for a “fine blend” from this spectacular breeding.

 

 

Ursa received her V rating …

And top critique in Germany today under SV Richter Helmut Koenig. She placed V4 in a highly competitive class behind 3 top placing females from the 2012 BSZS in Germany!! Ursa’s mother Fina placed V1 at our SE Regional earlier this year in North Carolina under Herr Koenig. Ursa also recently received an excellent breed survey report under SV Richter Richard Brauch. The line of Globalhaus darling VA1 Nicoll von der Ochsenfurt continues on. She is the mother of Fina and the grandmother of Ursa. Thank you to Jess for all the great work you do with Ursa.

 

 

Atlanta Verein show September 29-30, 2012

The Atlanta Verein show proved to be an enjoyable and very successful venue for Team Globalhaus. Five Globalhaus dogs achieved 1st Place finishes: Caterina vom Globalhaus (Nicoll x Kloud) VP1, Eton vom Globalhaus (Belgie x Kloud) VP1, Yes!! vom Globalhaus (Fanta x Ustinov) SG1, Zee Zee vom Globalhaus (Belgie x Bill) SG1 and Quando vom Globalhaus (Anta x Quantas) V1 Sieger. The 18-24 female competition was remarkable with Yes!!, Athena, Zara and Zecke vom Globalhaus taking the first four places in the class to achieve SG1, 2, 3, and 4 rankings. And both Fanta vom Globalhaus (Mother of Yes!!) and Anta vom Globalhaus (Mother of Quando) achieved their Lifetime Breed Surveys (LBZ Koerung). Congratulations to our entire team, you make it happen!!

Team Globalhaus and O.G. Carolina members will be competing at the upcoming September 29th and 30th show in Tyrone, Georgia. The event will be hosted by our good friends at the Atlanta Schutzhund Verein and be judged by the esteemed SV Richter and Koermeister Herr Lothar Quoll. It will be the first show for our new kids Chip and Eton. The Z litter gang will be there in force along with Athena, Yes!! and our working class entries.

Dear Mom:

I am just writing to tell you how swell things are going with my new family. You just won’t believe it. Not only does my new family include a veterinarian, so I never have to go to the vet, they own the Paw Beach Pet Resort. Its really cool, I get to hang out there all day in any suite I may fancy, watch movies, and play with all sorts of doggie pals. When I get home, I’m just plain ready for a long nap. And guess what else, they have a salt water lap pool with a beach too!! Here’s a movie set to music of me swimming and having a good old time. I guess that also makes me a movie star now. So Mom, I do miss you, but if you don’t mind I think I’ll stay right where I am forever.

Happy Easter – Belgie Babies are 6 weeks old today and Fina passed her LBZ!!

V1 Regional Siegerin, Fina vom Globalhaus, passed her Lifetime Breed Survey (LBZ) this morning under SV Judge Dr. Wolfgang Lauber. Congratulations Joyce and Derek!! Four Globalhaus dogs have now achieved their LBZ, the culmination and epitome of the arduous German standard for breeding. To read about the LBZ, just click on the Globalhaus Breeding Program link. Belgie and Kloud babies Elton, Eton, Emmett, Eli, Emma, Ella, and Etc. are growing by leaps and bounds and are six weeks old on this glorious Easter morning.

 

 

News Flash from the SE Regional Conformation Show…

The SE Regional was a flawlessly run event, attracting 148 entries. The weekend proved to be stellar for its beautiful weather as well as for our kennel name. Our placements in the young classes included Athena – VP1, Zecke – VP2, Zamp – VP1, Zamb (Zee Zee) – VP1, Nova (Fina daughter) – VP2, and Yes!!- SG 4. (see our upcoming stars)

And in the prestigious Titled Adult classes, three Globalhaus dogs showed their hearts and beauty in the ring. Special congratulations are in order to all those whose incredible efforts assisted Fina vom Globalhaus taking the V1 Siegerin title and the outstanding V3 placements for up and coming black and red beauties, Quena and Quando vom Globalhaus. Quena and Quando (Anta vom Globalhaus x Quantas Schanzlache) are the grandchildren of our treasured VA1 Hoss and Fina, the daughter of our VA1 Nicoll .

Fina once again showed that when it comes to power and elegance in the ring, she is unstoppable. We are all so very proud.

 

 

We Welcome to the World our New Belgie Babies

Belgie vom Globalhaus presented us with a gorgeous litter of 4 boys and 3 girls. Kloud is the proud Daddy. This is our final planned litter until late 2012, and the second E litter for Globalhaus. Give a great big welcome to Elton, Emmett, Eton, and Eli and Emma, Ella, and Etc. Etc. gets her name by being born after we thought Belgie was finished. The final xray a week ago didn’t show her hiding in there, so she is an added and wonderful surprise for us at Globalhaus.

 

 

Five Fanta Pups Born, Three Boys, Two Girls….

VA1 Nicoll von der Ochsenfurt daughter, Fanta vom Globalhaus, gave birth today to her second litter. Nicoll is the reigning matriarch at Globalhaus and we love her daughters Fanta and Fina who were sired by VA1 Ken vom Elzmuendungsraum, the kennel name for SV Richter Herr Richard Brauch. This is the 7th generation from our beloved VA1 female Wanni von der Wiererau. Our Raison d’être, to continue these bloodlines to this day.

 

 

Nicoll vom Globalhaus and VA1 Chacco Litter Born

Nicoll, international superstar with an SG10 world ranking and grandaughter of our beloved VA1 Hoss vom Hirmer Teich gave birth to her first litter on February 1st. These are highly coveted SV pink paper pups and we are thrilled to have this litter on the ground with Nicoll. She is named after our very own VA1 Siegerin Nicoll von der Ochsenfurt.

Ursa vom Globalhaus achieves her BH, AD, and IPO1 Titles
